Aragwadha Arishtam is a liquid remedy commonly used in the healing of skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis. It is a purifying tonic that detoxifies the body, especially the blood. It also helps to improve digestion by acting as a mild laxative to promote clear, healthy skin. It balances all three of the Doshas, especially Pitta Dosha.
Aragwadha refers to Cassia fistula, the main ingredient in this product.
15-25 ml. twice daily before food or as advised by an Ayurvedic practitioner. If the taste is too strong, it can be added with an equal amount of water.
Dose for Children
5 ml. mixed with 5 ml. of water taken twice daily before food.
Common Product Combinations
Nimba Haridradi Churna is administered along with Aragwadha Arishtam to heal skin diseases and allergic skin conditions.
Mahatiktakam Kwatham Tablets are taken with Aragwadha Arishtam to support the treatment of infective skin disorders.
Psorakot Tablets are administered along with Aragwadha Arishtam in the case of psoriasis.
Triphala Guggulu is taken with Aragwadha Arishtam to heal hemorrhoids.
Duration of Use
It can be used for a long period of time on a daily basis. Discuss with
an experienced practitioner.
Side Effects Over dosage may cause gastric irritation. Avoid self medication with this product and keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor for its usage during pregnancy and lactation.
